Communications Team

Purpose: “The Communications Team shall be responsible for internal and external print and electronic communications on behalf of all units of presbytery, and among the various churches. These responsibilities shall include press releases, web site content, presbytery newsletter, annual report, presbytery directory, promotional flyers and other communication vehicles.”[1]


Members: “The Communications Team shall have at least four elected members. Other persons may be co-opted as needed. The Team shall designate one of its elected members to serve as chair.”[2] Current members are Terry Chapman, Frank Genus, Sue Smith, and Phyllis Zoon (Chair).


Where we fit in the structure: “The Communications Team shall designate one of its elected members to serve as a member ex officio of the Ministries Division, the Administrative Division and the Mission Council.”[3]


Accountability” The Communications Team will report to the Presbytery of Monmouth through the Administrative Division Steering Committee.
