Monmouth Presbytery is a regional governing body of the Presbyterian Church (USA) located in Central New Jersey.
There are 47 congregations within the bounds of the presbytery. Monmouth Presbytery is a part of the Presbyterian Church (USA) and the Synod of the Northeast. The Presbytery of Monmouth touches the Delaware River on the west and the Atlantic Ocean on the east. Between the river and the ocean are small cities and towns as well as some of the farmland that earns New Jersey its fame as the Garden State. This location is surely one reason that over 16,000 Presbyterians in 45 churches and two new church developments affirm that the “earth is the Lord’s and all…those who live in it.”
