Across New England and the Mid-Atlantic, state governments are deciding about what kind of commitment to make to offshore wind power development. We think it’s time for bold, environmentally responsible commitments that will create good, family-sustaining jobs, renewable energy, and cleaner air.
The tour begin
s at 2:30 pm at the Quonset Point, RI pier, and returns there at 5:30 pm. Before the tour, you’ll be invited to join us for a lunch and briefing to learn from experts about the environmental and job-creation benefits of offshore wind.
For those coming from the south, GreenFaith will charter a round-trip bus from northern NJ, just 10 minutes from the George Washington Bridge, to the tour and back. We’ll leave early in the morning on Aug. 27, and return late that same day. Sign up to reserve a space.
Then, in the weeks following the tour, join us again and visit state leaders and decision-makers, urging them to make a bold, ambitious commitment to environmentally responsible offshore wind development.
Space on the ferryboat is limited, so sign up today! Join us to Trek to the Turbines.
