Holmes Presbyterian Camp and Conference Center is situated less than an hour from New York City on 600 acres of wooded hills and lakes in the Hudson River valley. For over 70 years, Holmes has been responding to God’s call to develop a welcoming Christian community dedicated to changing the lives of thousands of people each year through faith formation in a natural setting. Holmes is seeking an Executive Director who is called to leadership and will act as head of staff and facilitate board development. Holmes is striving to develop and implement strategic vision and innovative programs and the Executive Director should bring collaborative and progressive energy to this process. The Executive Director should be a person of Christian faith who is prepared to serve as an ambassador with Presbyterian (PCUSA) churches and Presbyteries and who is also able to act as an agent for outreach to diverse communities. The Executive Director should be an implementer who will ensure the safe and effective management of the camp and year-round conference center, while also developing major donor relations and exciting new programming, and furthering the mission of Holmes.
