We are writing to you to share some wonderful news. After reviewing over 30 applications and conducting 5 face to face interviews, the Rev. Dr. Nancy Muth emerged as the unanimous choice of the Leadership Transition Team.
Nancy recently retired after more than 30 years in ordained ministry, where she held various positions that provided her with a number of unique experiences. She’s served in a number of churches, holding positions as Assistant Minister, Associate Minister, Interim Minister and most recently Minister in a multi-staff congregation. She has been a partner in a funds development business, helping churches, presbyteries and camps in raising money. Nancy has been a committed member of her presbytery, where she served twice on COM, Council, chaired the Personnel Committee and served as vice moderator of the Trustees. She has also been active on the General Assembly level, serving 4 times as an assistant to the Stated Clerk at General Assemblies, a GA commissioner, a board member of the Presbyterian Investment and Loan Program (PILP), and a member of two GA review committees.
We are so excited, and hope you will be as well. There will be an opportunity to meet Nancy before the June 9 Presbytery meeting at Lawrence Road Church.
